Tour Details

Located on top of a mountain is Machu Picchu surrounded by a tropical forest. It is one of the most visited destinations in Cusco. The beauty of its buildings, temples and platforms captivate every tourist who arrives here.

The construction of this fortress is the most advanced of the entire Inca Empire, so you will see terraces, monuments, water vanes and large blocks of stone without any type of amalgamation, proof of the advanced technology that the Incas used.

During this 2-days you will be able to visit impressive places of the citadel with our guide, who will explain more about the Inca history and the function that this fortress fulfilled in his reign. In addition, the train trip is a unique experience with views of Andean landscapes that are watered by the Urubamba River.

To make this trip we recommend you spend a few days in Cusco, acclimatize to the cold weather or take a half-day tour like our Cusco City Tour or Sacred Valley Tour that will give you the necessary information to understand more about Inca history before arriving at Machu Picchu. .
