Ideal for lovers of nature and hiking through natural landscapes and tropical forests. For two days you will travel a path built by the Inca Empire based on stones until you reach the citadel of Machu Picchu.
The tour is a unique experience with impressive views of Andean landscapes. You will be surrounded by Andean mountains, exuberant vegetation and a variety of animals. You will also pass through some Inca sites such as the Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku that offers an impressive view of the citadel of Machu Picchu, all this and much more you will be able to appreciate during the first day.
The next day you will visit the world wonder appreciating the sun rays of dawn that fall on its walls built of stone. Then you will tour the place with our guide who will explain more about the history of the Incas.
To carry out this tour we recommend you spend a few days in Cusco and be in a position to take long walks. Likewise, we recommend you to bring trekking clothes and trekking poles.
Cusco Hotel Transfer

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco. We will take you through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Ollantaytambo. Here you will take a train that will take you to KM 104, the start of the Inca Trail 2 Days trek.
Upon arrival we will pass a control before crossing the Vilcanota River. After passing we will be able to observe the Inca Architectural Complex of Chachabamba, located on the old Inca road that ran along the southern bank of the Vilcanota River. This place was dedicated to spiritual activities and was also a checkpoint that guarded access to Machu Picchu.
After visiting the site we will walk up the side of the mountain passing through forests and up to a beautiful waterfall. You will also pass through the Wiñay Huayna Architectural Complex, a very striking place that you will visit with our guide.
We will continue the tour until we reach a second control before walking on the famous stairs that consist of 50 steps and are the final section of the Inca trail. After climbing these stairs we will arrive at the Puerta del Sol or “Inti Punku”, this place offers an impressive view of the entire citadel of Machu Picchu.
Finally, after delighting ourselves with this impressive view, you will board a bus that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival we will install you in a hotel where you will spend the night. If you want later you can walk through the town or relax in the thermal baths, very famous for their medicinal properties.
The expected day has arrived! Early in the morning the hotel staff will give you a box of snacks. We will take you to the bus terminal where you will board the bus that will take you to the Machu Picchu fortress. At the entrance to the fortress of Machu Picchu you will pass a control where your passport will be verified. After passing the control we will begin the tour with our guide who will give you more details of the Inca history.
After the tour of the entire citadel, you will have free time to explore the citadel on your own. We recommend you visit the Inti Punku or “Puerta del Sol” which offers a panoramic view of the citadel. If you book a trek to Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu Mountain, our guide will take you to the entrance.
You will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes, upon arrival you will have free time to tour the town and have lunch. Finally, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transport will be waiting for you to take you back to the city of Cusco. We will leave you at your accommodation.
