The Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu is an adventure tour full of amazing sights. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco. We will take you through the Sacred Valley to the starting point of the Inca Jungle, the Abra Malaga. Upon arrival you will be given bicycles and complete safety equipment, and you will also be given a short instruction before starting to descend with the bicycles to the town of Huamanmarca.
During the tour you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the snowy peaks and all the vegetation that houses the tropical forest. We will continue the trip to the town of Santa Maria where we will enjoy lunch.
After lunch, if you wish, you can go rafting on the Vilcanota River. You will be given all the safety equipment as well as instructions to be able to do this sport, reminding you that you must know how to swim to do this sport. You will be accompanied by our expert in this sport.
Finally after doing this sport we will accommodate you in an accommodation in Santa Maria, the environment will be conditioned so that you can rest.
The second day we will wake you up with a delicious breakfast before continuing the tour walking along part of the Inca Trail towards Santa Teresa. For 2 hours you will be able to see the snowy Salkantay, the landscape that surrounds this area and a variety of vegetation and animals. You will also be able to interact with a local family who will share their traditions and culture.
Upon reaching the Inca Trail that connects the Sacred Valley of the Incas with Vilcabamba, the last Inca residence, we will begin to descend to Quellomayo. Upon arrival we will stop for lunch.
Finally we will walk for two hours to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, here you can relax in its thermo-medicinal waters. Then we will take you to the town of Santa Teresa to your accommodation, we will accommodate you in a comfortable accommodation.
On the third day you will zipline with all security measures after breakfast. After having fun with this sport we will board a bus that will take us to the Machu Picchu Hydroelectric Plant. Here we will pass a security control and enter the National Park of Machu Picchu.
From here we will continue walking to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the tour we will pass through the archaeological site of Intihuatana, we will observe the vegetation and a variety of birds that live in this place.
After lunch we will arrive at the Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol where we can have an impressive view of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Finally we will arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes where we will transfer you to the accommodation where you will spend the night.
The long-awaited day has arrived! Early in the morning we will go to the citadel of Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise over the citadel. After this beautiful moment we will tour the citadel with our guide for two hours.
Together with our guide you will tour the entire citadel visiting the most important places for two hours. After this time you can tour the citadel on your own. If you have booked a trek to Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu Mountain, our guide will be directing you to the entrance.
After touring this world wonder, you will board a bus that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival you will have time for lunch before boarding a train that will take you back to Ollantaytambo. Here our transportation will be waiting to take you back to Cusco. We will drop you off at your accommodation.
