Sacred Valley/Cusco City Tours

Excellence

Peruvian Excellence
Our group had the best tour of Machu Picchu. Will just had us sit and take in the site, very soon after our arrival.  He is a Quechua warrior. Through Wil and his knowledge and experience, Machu Picchu came alive, really alive. Our trek to Salkantay Glacier, a 15,000 foot, climb, was most incredible, 90% of our group made it to the top without horses and only the support and encouragement of the staff.  The staff were excellent and treated with the utmost respect by Will.  The food tasted healthy and very delicious. I don't know how they accomplished the preparation and the excellence. Whenever we needed help or guidance, someone was always there.  We were encouraged to speak Spanish to the staff while they were encouraged to speak English to us. Luxury transportation was provided. We had so many incredible adventures, ruins, llama/alpaca/guinea pig farm, ziplining, hot springs, . . .  the perfect trip of a lifetime due to the caring and support from Will and his team.

The Best in the Business!
Our time spent traveling on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu was absolutely incredible and that is because of the wonderful experience William offered!! He was fun and personable from the very moment we met, and did everything to make the entire day memorable. He made a once in a lifetime experience even better than we could ever imagine. Highly recommended
I’ve visited many countries with rich histories and great outdoor opportunities, but never have I had such a fulfilling and interesting experience as I had with William and Tupac Adventures in Peru. I typically travel to my own itinerary and explore a country ad hoc. But in Peru, we decided to hire Tupac Adventures to guide us to the Choquequirao archeological site and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Logistically, Tupac Adventures was incredible. Throughout our three-day trek we travelled in luxury. The porters were friendly and competent, and easily outpaced us to set up camp despite being loaded down with our supplies and guiding horses and mules. The chef was exceptional, and prepared extravagant meals despite the remoteness of our camp locations. After a strenuous day, the little gestures of comfort offered by Tupac Adventures were very much appreciated: warm water for hand-washing and fresh coca tea in the mornings, tents set up prior to arriving at camp, and beer or chicha or dessert at night. However, the primary reason I would highly recommend Tupac Adventures is the historical knowledge and articulateness of William, the tour guide. Touring a 500-year-old immaculately preserved archeological site is great. Touring that site in the company of a Quechua history graduate is incredible. William never got tired of my questions and was a fount of knowledge concerning the site and the Incan Empire. After returning from the trek, we promptly hired William to guide us around Cuzco which was also remarkable. When we return to Peru, we will certainly seek out Tupac Adventures to guide us to other historical gems that the Peruvian Andes has to offer. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

So Good!
I have had 3 incredible adventures with Will of Tupac Adventures, and each has been full of fun & intrigue, action & beauty, history & heart. Will is one of Peru's top guides, and I have trusted his leadership with my groups from the USA, and have also sent many friends to him for his guiding services and trip planning- the positive experience the same for them. Will is educated, very experienced, and he also embodies the Incan spirit and the heart of the Quechua culture. His love for nature, adventure, history, his land and his people, all create a rich experience for his clients. Great Experience!!
This was such a great experience from beginning to end. We were very well taken care of,10/10 for the communication. Everything was well planned and well coordinated. We didn’t have to worry about anything and even lunch was taken care of. We had a private tour of The Sacred Valley, which was amazing!! The artisans of this valley are awe inspiring and it’s beautiful how they put intention into everything they do and create. We had an fantastic guide, Will, that took us to some places off the beaten path. He is extremely knowledgable about the places we visited and really brought the valley to life. Trip of a lifetime!
I had such a great time on this trip! Our guide Will is very experienced and passionate and shares Peru’s history and culture from his heart. We went to many historical and beautiful places and learned so much. Tupac Adventures will not disappoint!
Hiked the Salkantay with Tupac Adventures. The guides are top notch. And the individual attention provided to ensure the support and success of each of us was unparalleled. They know their stuff. The chef and kitchen crew deserve a Michelin star for the meals they prepare on the side of the mountain. As close to glamping as you can get while working your a$$ off. Best experience
Tupac Adventures was my favorite thing about Peru. And I loved Peru! Will was our guide and he was so motivating and knowledgeable that every intimidating climb was so full of information and beauty that you were done before you knew it.I will come back with my kids so they can see Peru through Will’s eyes, too.
